Physical Therapist - PART-TIME / FULL-TIME

Are you a passionate Physical Therapist looking to practice Physical Therapy in a supportive, truly patient-centered environment? Join our team of professionals at Brazos Valley Rehabilitation Center, the only independent, freestanding, nonprofit clinic in the community.

At BVRC, we prioritize one-on-one care, with no technicians or concurrent treatments. You’ll collaborate with speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, and other professionals to create individualized treatment plans for each patient. While we serve a diverse population, experience with pediatrics or a desire to learn is preferred.

We're very flexible on the type of work arrangement that fits the candidate's personal goals and priorities, while supporting our mission.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of motor skills, strength, and functional abilities.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings and patient goals.
  • Provide one-on-one therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Collaborate with speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, and other interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Educate and support families, providing them with the tools and resources necessary to aid their child's progress.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and treatment plans.
  • Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and continuing education opportunities to stay current with best practices in pediatric physical therapy.

Qualifications:

  • Doctorate or Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
  • Experience working with pediatric populations in an outpatient or clinical setting.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care.
