Job Title: Speech Language Pathologist/ Spech Language Pathology Assistant
Report to: CEO

Postion Summary
Brazos Valley Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist/ Speech Language Pathology Assistant for our outpatient rehabilitation clinic in Bryan, Texas. Our multi-disciplinary team provides services to patients of all ages with varying diagnoses, with a special focus on pediatrics. If you’re a professional with the highest standards of practice, a team player and have a commitment to making a difference, we would love to hear from you! Open to CF candidates as well.
Key Responsibilities
- Plans and performs diagnostic evaluation and treatment programs according to generally accepted standards of practice, performing only those tasks permitted by current licensure
- Participates in interdisciplinary teamwork resulting in coordinated service delivery to individuals served.
- Counsels with clients and family members within the Speech Therapy areas of expertise.
- Documents in a timely manner all phases of service, including service delivery and discharge from services, by recording procedures and charges and by dictating or writing evaluation reports, plans of care, treatment notes, progress reports, and discharge reports.
- Participates in continuing education activities.Participates with Center’s Administration in case management, program evaluation, utilization review, and performance analysis.
- Participates with the Center’s Administration in marketing the Center’s services.
- Participates with the Center’s Administration in meeting all regulatory, licensure, health and safety, and accreditation standards pertinent to the Center’s clinical programs.
- Maintains current licensure, registrations, and certifications pertinent to Speech Language Pathology.
Qualifications
- Valid Texas license
- Spanish fluency preferred but not required
- Experience working with pediatric populations
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team.

Job Title: Occupational Therapist

Are you a passionate Occupational Therapist looking to practice Occupational Therapy in a supportive, truly patient-centered environment? Join our team of professionals at Brazos Valley Rehabilitation Center, the only independent, freestanding, nonprofit clinic in the community. At BVRC, we prioritize one-on-one care, with no technicians or concurrent treatments. You’ll collaborate with speech-language pathologists, physical therapists, and other professionals to create individualized treatment plans for each patient. While we serve a diverse population, experience with pediatrics or a desire to learn is preferred.

- Maintains current licensure, registrations, and certifications pertinent to Occupational Therapy.
- Supervises students of Occupational Therapy placed with the Center under cooperative arrangements with accredited professional schools, when appropriate.
- Supervises Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTA) in accordance with state licensure requirements, if applicable
- Completes initial assessment reports within 5 business days from the date of the visit, if applicable
- Documents patient care in a timely manner, by completing visit notes within 24 hours from visit time
Qualifications:
- Doctorate or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
- Experience working with pediatric populations in an outpatient or clinical setting.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team.

Job Title: Paid Front Desk Customer Service Intern

Position Summary
Brazos Valley Rehabilitation Center (BVRC) is seeking a motivated and professional Paid Front Desk Customer Service Intern to join our team. This internship provides hands-on experience in healthcare administration, patient services, and nonprofit operations.The intern will serve as the first point of contact for patients and families, supporting front desk operations while gaining valuable exposure to medical office procedures, insurance processes, and interdisciplinary care coordination. The ideal candidate is a current undergraduate or graduate student with an interest in physical, occupational or speech therapy, looking to gain a deeper understanding to the running of the facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome all patients, families, and visitors in a professional and compassionate manner
- Answer and route incoming phone calls; take accurate messages
- Perform Medicaid eligibility checks
- Assist the Billing Office with Medicaid pre-authorizations, re-authorizations, and posting payments
- Schedule initial evaluations and ongoing treatment visits
- Support patients and parents with admissions paperwork
- Facilitate communication between clients, family members, treatment team members, and referring physicians
- Assist with daily operational duties including:
- Collecting co-pays
- Making courtesy reminder calls for appointments
- Managing rescheduled visits
- Opening and distributing mail
- Copying, faxing, and general clerical support
Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent (college students or recent graduates encouraged to apply)
- Interest in healthcare administration, nonprofit management, or customer service
- Professional communication skills and strong organizational abilities
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Spanish fluency preferred but not required
- Prior customer service experience is a plus
